Our Nursing Home Ministries
The Nursing Home Ministry
is just as much a part of our calling here at "Living Water's
Church" as is any of the other ministries that we offer
to those who are in need in our community, it is more than
just holding church services, it is a privilege and an honor
to have our hearts so moved with the presence of God's love,
to those who would be considered too old or not productive
anymore!
Their wisdom and sacrifices
have caused this country to become great, and without them,
(this now "Forgotten Generation") where would we be? God
so loved the elderly that he sent Jesus to die for them!
Psalm 71:18 "Now also when
I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I
have showed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power
to every one that is to come."
We heard some say, "that
they feel they are forsaken", we come to bring hope, to
those who feel hopeless, that if their family doesn't come
to visit, that there is one who will never leave, nor forsake
them, Jesus Christ! Many have given their lives to the Lord
during these services!
We are currently holding
full services Singing, Exhorting, Preaching, and giving
altar calls, (to some this may be their only/last chance
to hear the "Word" of Salvation!"). We are now ministering
in two Nursing Homes per month; Also one on one visitation
and praying with them!
Our God is not a respecter
of persons!
